Here is the house in New Mexico.  The low maintenance yard was a real plus for us!!!!  There's a big cactus in the back yard that is fantastic.   House came with a renter which was perfect as that we won't be ready for it for a few years.  Notice the BLUE sky!!!  And that was in November!!!

There is a better view than this, but Brian had the camera, so need I say more???  Those are the Sandia Mountains in the background.  They are about 20 minutes away, and there is a ski area there.  It's small, but hey, 20 minutes away can't be beat.  Elevation at the ski area is somewhere close to 11,000 feet.  There is a great gondola that you can take up with a restaurant at the top.

This is Furthur.  For any of you Ken Kesey fans, you'll know that Furthur spelled with a u was the bus that the merry pranksters "tripped" their way across the states on. Tom Wolfe wrote a book about it called the Electric Acid Koolaid Test. Brian and I have different opinions about the book.  Let me just say one word about it.......snooooooooozer.  But the point of the name is that the boat is a cruising boat and going "furthur" is what we plan on doing.  I'm doing couch time over the fact that Brian wouldn't name her "Lady Sasha".  bah hahahahahaha

The boat is a Selene 48.  Brian calls it the Mary Kay boat.  He sold enough of them and got one of his own. :-):-)  We live aboard when we're in Friday Harbor.  These are the boats that Friday Harbor Yachts sells.  If you want to check them out, here is the website

Yes, boat boy (as Brian is fondly referred to by me and all of my friends.  And yes, there is a story behind that. Ask us sometime) turns into hydro boy here.  Brian managed to make a dream come true and take a ride in one of the old allison engine hydroplanes last october at Lake Chelan.  He made it to 130 mph and was thrilled, chilled and vibrated.

If you're a hydroplane buff, or just wanting to know a little more about the old ones, take a look at.......

Here's our rides.  I ride a 2003 FJR1300 and Brian rides a 2004 Road Star.  My old ride was a 1986 Honda v65 Magna and Brian rode a 1998 1100cc Virago.  We have fond memories of some great trips on our old bikes and are making some great memories on our new ones.  Check out the family and friends page of the photo galleries for some of our biker buds, especially the chiclets!!!
