THURSDAY-SATURDAY JUNE 8, 9, 10

Trawler Fest in Poulsbo.  It's a boating event put on by Passage Maker Magazine.   There are lots of classes to take and boat dealers abounding.  We'll be there with Furthur and a 62' Selene as well.  Come check it out.  For more info, go to http://www.trawlerfest.com/

TUESDAY JUNE 20 - SUMO WRESTLING

Can't miss a chance to see this one.  The roller derby girls turned out to be a kick ass show, so we're hoping that all that poundage will be equally entertaining.  We'll meet at our place at 7:00, show starts at 7:30.  To get a sense of it as well as pricing go to http://www.everetteventscenter.com/MainArena/Events/General.ashx?p=65&69_evntdt=228&69_evnt=168

Ooooooooooh, how disappointing.  Sumo wrestling has been cancelled.  And we were so looking forward to it!!!! :-(:-(

SUNDAY-MONDAY - JULY 9TH, 10TH

Road trip on the motorcycles.  Just and overnighter up to Harrison Hot Springs in Canada.  It's a beautiful ride up there and of course soaking in the hot springs is always wonderful.  We're staying at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort.  Anyone who wants to come along, let us know.  John and Lainey are coming along.  Want to know about Harrison Hot Springs???  Check out http://www.harrisonresort.com/

This event is now over.  Go to fun and adventure photo gallery to see about it.

JULY 15TH - AUGUST 15TH

These are the approximate dates of when we'll be motoring off into the sunset on our boat trip.  We'll be cruising the Broughton Islands in Canada this summer.  For those of you who remember our cruise around Vancouver Island last year on the first annual Selene rally, this is going to be the second Selene rally.  We'll be connecting up with other Selene owners along the way and meeting owners coming back from Alaska up there around August 10-15.  There will be some pig roast function that I will of course have to turn the other way for, but it should be lots of fun, and there will be pictures abounding on the site when we return. For a little overview of the Broughtons, go to http://www.vancouverisland.com/parks/?id=332

Check out the pictures of the trip!!

NOVEMBER 15TH

O.k. it's Brian's birthday for any of you who want to give him a birthday shout!!!

Brian's big 55 was spent in New Mexico.  Funny.......he spent his birthday there last year too!!!

NOVEMBER 18th

We're headed to Kirkland to see Uncle Bonsai.  Brian turned me onto them a few years ago and I've seen them twice and am going this year as well.  Now for those of you who know me, you know that I like new, new, new things to see and do and rarely want to go back and see the same thing I've already seen.  But Uncle Bonsai is worth seeing again and again.  It's a group of two girls and one guy who plays guitar and sings some great songs.  The music is described as contemporary folk, but with song titles like boys want sex in the morning and cheerleaders on drugs, I'm not so sure that fits.  Check out their website and join us if you can.    http://www.unclebonsai.com/

Bummer, we ended up not going because our flight back from New Mexico got in later than we thought.  Well, there is always next year to look forward to.

NOVEMBER 23RD

Yep, it's turkey day!!!!  Brian's tradition is to take the boat to Stuart Island for a few days.  Any boats that want to come up are welcome to join.  Let us know and we will coordinate what to bring.  Brian always does the turkey with stuffing and gravy and it's a blast.  Any of you who haven't gone snipe hunting, weather permitting, there will be a snipe hunt as well.  Last year the weather was good enough for sister Vickie and me to launch the kayaks and go for a paddle.  Come one come all, it's always good fun and good eats!!!:D:D:D

DECEMBER 1ST - 3RD

Wahoooooo, it's the Seattle motorcycle show where we can check out all the new bikes, look for new toys for our bikes and generally just drool a little here and there.  We're not sure just which day we'll be going, but will post it as the date gets closer.   For info, check out http://sea.motorcycleshows.com/imssea/v42/index.cvn

DECEMBER 2ND

It's the toy run to Olympia.  Brian has done it for the past few years and sister Vickie has been on the back.  She's riding her own these days, so I'm sure that she'll be along for the fun as well.  Let us know who wants to go and we'll pick a spot for everyone to meet up.  For info on the event, see http://www.olytoyrun.com/index.php?page=Details
